Shirley Lorraine  Roberts
It is with broken hearts, yet joyful anticipation, that the family of the late Shirley Lorraine Roberts announces her Promotion to Glory. Shirley passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord from the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre, Botwood, NL on Wednesday, February 21st, 2018 at the age of 75 years.

Predeceased by her parents - Andrew & Annie Roberts; parents-in-law – Pleman & Dorothy Roberts; brothers-in-law – Willis Locke, Ralph Roberts and Job Rideout; niece – Bethany Roberts.

Left to cherish a lifetime of wonderful memories is her husband of 54 years - Melvin; children - Clarey Roberts (Lorraine), Michael Roberts (Valerie), Nicole Muzichuk (Gary), Rockey Roberts (Marsha) and Heather Roberts (Martin); grandchildren – Tyler (Amie), Marc (Megan), Julia, Leah, Nicholas, Christian, Clarke, Hunter, Luke and Lacey; great-grandchildren – Lewis, Derek & Gavin; siblings - Lillian Roberts, Brenton Roberts (Phyllis), Violet Locke, Patsy Rowsell (Glossen) and Roy Roberts (Pauline); siblings-in-law - Bramwell Roberts (Bessie), Gilbert Roberts (Marie), Gary Roberts (Pearl), Glen Roberts (Vida), Effie Rideout, Joan Whalen (Terry) and Diane Rice (Reginald) as well as an incredibly large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, corps family and innumerable friends.

Captains Steven & Lynette Barrett conducted a Service of Celebration from The Salvation Army Citadel, Triton NL on Sunday, February 25th, 2018. Interment followed at the Triton Evergreen Cemetery, Head’s Harbour.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations may be made in Shirley’s memory to the “Triton Salvation Army Building Fund” - P.O. Box 9, Triton, NL, A0J 1V0
