It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elizabeth Ann Skinner, formerly of Harbour Round NL, announces her passing from the Long Term Care Facility, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL on Thursday, December 28th, 2017 at the age of 80 years.
Predeceased by her husband – William Skinner; parents – Bernard and Alice Drover; children – Donald Skinner and Aiden Skinner; grandchildren – Chantal Skinner, Jason Skinner, Christy Giles and Aaron Giles; sons-in-law – William Giles and Gene Haas.
Left with fond and loving memories are her children – Carmel Giles, Cyril Skinner (Ida), Melvin Skinner (Wanda), Regina Haas, Rosemary Courtney (Michael), Clayton Skinner (Melissa), Michael Way Skinner (Christine), Mary Ellen Giles (Kirk Lethbridge); daughter by heart – Irene Payne-Skinner (Gerard); 27 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; a large circle of brothers, sisters, nephews, extended family and friends.
Father Camillus Ekedobe conducted the funeral Mass from Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Harbour Round, NL, on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2018.
Pallbearers were Michael Drover, Robert Skinner, Beejay Skinner, Terry Courtney, Patrick Way Skinner and William Giles. Crossbearer was Michael Courtney.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations may be made in her memory to Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church Fund.
