Obituary for Cornell Edward Lewis

Cornell Edward  Lewis
It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Cornell Edward Lewis announces his passing. Cornell passed away from the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Tuesday, February 13th, 2018 at the age of 62.

Predeceased by his parents – Robert and Theresa Lewis; baby sister – Mary Lewis; parents-in-law – Thomas and Dolorosa Tobin.

Left with fond and loving memories is his wife of 36 years – Linda Tobin, Fleur de Lys, NL; sons – Dustin Tobin (Ashley), Saskatoon, SK and Kaelin Lewis, Fleur de Lys, NL; grandchildren – Maddison and Gracie Tobin; siblings – Kenneth Lewis (Vicki), Baie Verte, NL, Judy Andrews (Rudy), Stony Plain, AB, Barbara Robertson (Gord), Penhold, AB, Dianne Sacrey (Junior), Pacquet, NL, Debbie Lewis, Fort McMurray, AB, Clara Lewis, Red Deer, AB, Juanita Lewis, Red Deer, AB, Oscar Lewis (Kathleen), Frazer Lake, BC, Charmaine Wein (David), Kingston, ON, Bobby Lewis, Red Deer, AB and Trinity Statnyk (Drew), Airdrie, AB; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, special cousins, extended family and friends.

Father Camillus Ekedobe conducted the Mass of Christian Burial from St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, Fleur de Lys, NL on Saturday, February 17th, 2018. Interment followed from St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Fleur de Lys, NL.

Pallbearers were Bobby Lewis, Oscar Lewis, George Tobin, Tim Shea, Randy Walsh, Kyle Walsh, Justin Lewis and Gus Lewis. Crossbearer was Kaelin Lewis.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Cornell's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1224, Station K, Toronto, ON, M4P 9Z9.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.
